The Hayward Area Historical Society invites you to join us as we honor nine outstanding individuals and organizations making history and preserving culture with their significant service to the Hayward Area community.

The festive evening begins with cocktails and delectable appetizers catered by Blue Heron Catering while mingling and bidding on unique silent auction items. The History Awards ceremony features a special performance by the Mt. Eden High School Chamber Singers, the lead ensemble of the six choir program. After the ceremony, enjoy the delicious dessert bar and celebrate 15 years of honoring Hayward area community members in the Community Gallery’s History Awards exhibition.

All proceeds support the Hayward Area Historical Society’s temporary and permanent exhibitions, public programs, K – 12 school tours, and other exciting activities at the new Center for History & Culture and three historic properties: McConaghy House, Meek Mansion and the San Lorenzo Pioneer Cemetery.
