Membership funds help the Historical Society fulfill its mission, and makes educational programs, interpretive exhibitions, and preservation of historic sites and artifacts possible.
Membership Levels and Benefits
Member Benefits at the Individual ($50) level include:
Personalized membership card for one member
Complimentary admission to the Museum and McConaghy House
Members only mailings, including a complimentary subscription to Adobe Trails, our quarterly newsletter
10% discount in the museum store
Discounted tickets for events and special programs
Reciprocal membership to over 300 history museums, sites, and societies through Time Travelers – visit timetravelers.mohistory.org for more information
Family Members ($80) receive all Individual level benefits for two adults and children under 18 in the same household.
**Contributing Members ($100) receive all of the above, additional reciprocal membership benefits to over 1000 museums of all disciplines through the North American Reciprocal Museum Program, increased museum store discount (15%) and HAHS membership benefits include visiting extended family members. BEST VALUE
Sponsor Members ($250) receive all the benefits of Contributing Members with an even greater museum store discount (20%), a complimentary history publication from the Director’s preferred list, and discounted photo reproductions from the HAHS collection.
Patron Members ($500) receive all the benefits of Sponsor Members plus an individual level membership to gift, and a scheduled VIP tour for the member(s) and 4 guests to one site: HAHS Museum, HAHS Archives/Collections, McConaghy House, or Meek Mansion.
Sustaining Members make a one year commitment of recurring monthly donations (minimum of $10/month) and receive Contributing level benefits. To set up a sustaining membership, please call our advancement department at (510) 581-0223 ext 152.
